Learning About Our...Strength

I gain strength from this congregation every time we meet.

One of the definitions of strength is "a source of power and encouragement." 1 Thessalonians 5:11 says we are to "encourage" and "build up one another." No matter what problem I am struggling with I find encouragement and support from my Lord and the members of this congregation.

I have recently dealt with a serious family illness as well as the death of my father. The love and support of this congregation was with me every hour of these trials. I know I can always count on them and this fills me with a strength I could never accomplish on my own.

We all face problems, but you do not have to face them alone. Come and let us strenthen you.
