Learning About Our...Salvation
The folks at Beverly Shores believe that all the knowledge
needed to attain salvation is contained in God's Word.
It is our mission to teach (and practice) nothing but
Jesus Christ, and him crucified, as the foundation of
all true wisdom, piety, and happiness. Or as the Apostle
Paul expressed it: "For I determined not to know
any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and Him crucified."
(1 Cor. 2:2, KJV)
I have been attending BSC for almost 30 years and in
that time I have had the opportunity to teach Bible studies
ranging from the Old Testament prophets to the Life and
Letters of Paul the Apostle. (See the outlines of these
studies at: www.careydillinger.com/bibl.htm)
In all the time I have spent preparing classes and sermons
over the years I have always been struck by the simplicity
of God's plan for our salvation through Jesus Christ.
Of course, one must study the scriptures to determine
that plan (2 Tim. 2:15, KJV). This can be accomplished
through solitary study, but the scriptures suggest that
studying with someone would expedite our learning (Rom.
10:14, KJV).
It is through our salvation that we can come back into
a right relationship with God through Christ. The New
Testament is ripe with examples of those honestly seeking
God and how they found Him and attained their salvation.
One such example is that of the Ethiopian Nobleman whose
conversion account is found in Acts
8:26-39. I suggest you read this scripture and compare
your current spiritual life to that of the Ethiopian.
Are you seeking God, but need help finding His plan? We
here at Beverly Shores are waiting and willing to study
the Bible with you. Please contact us or visit with us
