LOVE
(Ps 146:8) The LORD opens the eyes of the blind; The LORD raises
up those who are bowed down; The LORD loves the righteous;
(Pr 10:12) Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all transgressions.
(Isa 62:5) For as a young man marries a virgin, So your sons
will marry you; And as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride,
So your God will rejoice over you.
(Mt 5:46) "For if you love those who love you, what reward
do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?
(Joh 3:16) "For God so loved the world, that He gave His
only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish,
but have eternal life.
(Joh 15:10) "If you keep My commandments, you will abide
in My love; just as I have kept My Father's commandments and
abide in His love.
(1 Corinthians 13:4-8) Love is patient, love is kind and is
not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not
act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked,
does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice
in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things,
believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love
never fails
(1Co 13:13) But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but
the greatest of these is love.
(Php 1:9) And this I pray, that your love may abound still
more and more in real knowledge and all discernment,
(1Jo 4:7) Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from
God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
(1Jo 4:18-19) There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts
out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who
fears is not perfected in love. We love, because He first loved
us.
FAITH
Ps 37:5 Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, and
He will do it.
Mt 17:20 And He *said to them, "Because of the littleness
of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the
size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move
from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible
to you.
Mr 9:24 Immediately the boy's father cried out and said, "I
do believe; help my unbelief."
Lu 17:5 The apostles said to the Lord, "Increase our
faith!"
Joh 20:29 Jesus *said to him, "Because you have seen
Me, have you believed? Blessed are they who did not see, and
yet believed."
Ro 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word
of Christ.
2Co 5:7 for we walk by faith, not by sight-
(Ephesians 2:8-10) For by grace you have been saved through
faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not
as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His
workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God
prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.
2Ti 3:14-15 You, however, continue in the things you have
learned and become convinced of, knowing from whom you have
learned them, and that from childhood you have known the sacred
writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to
salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
Heb 4:2 For indeed we have had good news preached to us, just
as they also; but the word they heard did not profit them, because
it was not united by faith in those who heard.
Heb 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the
conviction of things not seen.
Jas 2:17 Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being
by itself.
Jas 2:24 You see that a man is justified by works and not
by faith alone.
DEATH
2Sa 12:23 "But now he has died; why should I fast? Can
I bring him back again? I will go to him, but he will not return
to me."
1Ki 2:2 "I am going the way of all the earth. Be strong,
therefore, and show yourself a man.
Job 1:21 He said, "Naked I came from my mother's womb,
And naked I shall return there. The LORD gave and the LORD has
taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD."
Job 16:22 "For when a few years are past, I shall go the
way of no return.
Ps 23:4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow
of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and
Your staff, they comfort me.
Pr 14:32 The wicked is thrust down by his wrongdoing, But the
righteous has a refuge when he dies.
Joh 8:51 "Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps
My word he will never see death."
Ro 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of
God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
1Co 15:26 The last enemy that will be abolished is death.
Re 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven, saying, "Write,
'Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on!'"
"Yes," says the Spirit, "so that they may rest
from their labors, for their deeds follow with them."
Re 21:4 and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and
there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any
mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away."
GRACE
Joh 1:17 For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth
were realized through Jesus Christ.
Ac 20:32 "And now I commend you to God and to the word
of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you
the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
1Co 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace
toward me did not prove vain; but I labored even more than all
of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with me.
2Co 4:15 For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace
which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving
of thanks to abound to the glory of God.
2Co 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so
that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have
an abundance for every good deed;
Eph 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and
that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God;
Tit 2:11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation
to all men,
WISDOM
Job 28:28 "And to man He said, 'Behold, the fear of the
Lord, that is wisdom; And to depart from evil is understanding.'"
Ps 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul;
The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
Ps 111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom;
A good understanding have all those who do His commandments;
His praise endures forever.
Pr 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart And do not lean
on your own understanding.
Pr 24:3-4 By wisdom a house is built, And by understanding
it is established; And by knowledge the rooms are filled With
all precious and pleasant riches.
Ec 9:16-18 So I said, "Wisdom is better than strength."
But the wisdom of the poor man is despised and his words are
not heeded. The words of the wise heard in quietness are better
than the shouting of a ruler among fools. Wisdom is better than
weapons of war, but one sinner destroys much good.
Col 1:9 For this reason also, since the day we heard of it,
we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be
filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom
and understanding,
Jas 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God,
who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will
be given to him.
CHURCH
Mt 16:18 "I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon
this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will
not overpower it.
Ro 16:16 Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the churches
of Christ greet you.
Eph 1:22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet,
and gave Him as head over all things to the church,
Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with
all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms
and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in
your hearts to God.
Re 2:7 'He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says
to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of
the tree of life which is in the Paradise of God.'
Heb 10:25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is
the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the
more as you see the day drawing near.
(1 Timothy 3:15) but in case I am delayed, I write so that
you will know how one ought to conduct himself in the household
of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and
support of the truth.
FRIENDSHIP
1Sa 18:1 Now it came about when he had finished speaking to
Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David,
and Jonathan loved him as himself.
Pr 17:17 A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born
for adversity.
Pr 18:24 A man of too many friends comes to ruin, But there
is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
Pr 27:6 Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But deceitful
are the kisses of an enemy.
(Ecclesiastes 4:9-10) Two are better than one because they
have a good return for their labor. For if either of them falls,
the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls
when there is not another to lift him up.
(John 3:29) "He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but
the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices
greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. So this joy of mine
has been made full.
(John 15:13-15) "Greater love has no one than this, that
one lay down his life for his friends. "You are My friends
if you do what I command you. "No longer do I call you
slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing;
but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard
from My Father I have made known to you.
BAPTISM
(Matthew 3:16-17) After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately
from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he
saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove and lighting on Him,
and behold, a voice out of the heavens said, "This is My
beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased."
(Matthew 28:19-20) "Go therefore and make disciples of
all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and
the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that
I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end
of the age."
(John 3:5) Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you,
unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into
the kingdom of God.
(Acts 2:38) Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you
be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness
of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
(Acts 22:16) 'Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized,
and wash away your sins, calling on His name.'
