Learning About Our...Faith

"So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God."
     - Romans 10:17

One of things that caught our attention (my wife and I) about the Beverly Shores’ congregation was the great faith of the people. The Christians here believe in the power of the gospel because they know a person will not be effective in serving God without faith (Hebrews 11:6).

I am the evangelist of BSC and it is a privilege to work with these Christians. The fact that the people have such great faith in the promises of God is a huge encouragement to me. The people don’t want to hear what men say, they want to know about the will of God. Here at Beverly Shores, Jesus is the supreme authority and we believe Him when He says “for I go to prepare a place for you,” (John 14:2). That is why we teach only from the Bible. We have faith that if we live obedient to Jesus, we will be rewarded with a home in heaven.

Biblical faith can only come from God’s word. We encourage you to come by and visit us at any time. We know you will be encouraged because we will treat you with the utmost respect. You will see Christians respecting the authority of the scriptures, love among brethren, and God being put first. We know your faith will be strengthened so please come and visit us.
